Warranty & Guarantee

At Lymore Shepherds Huts, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every hut we build.
Each project is individually handcrafted in our Hampshire workshop using premium materials and traditional joinery methods — designed to last for generations.

1. Structural Warranty – 5 Years

Covers the timber frame, chassis, and structural integrity of the hut.

Protects against defects in materials or workmanship that result in structural failure under normal residential or commercial use.

2. Workmanship & Materials – 1 Year

Covers doors, windows, roofing, cladding, internal joinery and fixtures against manufacturing or installation defects.

Covers defective paint or stain application (peeling, flaking) when maintenance guidance has been followed.

3. Fixtures, Fittings & Appliances

Individual appliances (e.g., stoves, electrical appliances, plumbing components) are covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty.

Documentation for these items will be supplied at handover.

4. What’s Not Covered

The warranty does not apply to:

General wear and tear or cosmetic changes over time
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to maintain the hut
Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties
Weather-related deterioration due to improper siting or lack of maintenance

We recommend periodic maintenance (painting, sealing, and roof inspection) to help preserve the appearance and longevity of your hut.

5. Your Responsibilities
Follow our maintenance guidelines, including recommended timber treatments and annual inspections.

Notify us of any issue as soon as reasonably possible after discovery.

7. Legal Rights

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, which remain in full force and effect.
